 Possible duped items: We have heard of people receiving runes from in-game trades, and then having those runes disappear. This happens when someone trades a duped rune. We do NOT dupe any items, but we do trade for most of our runes. So the following are preventative methods so that any possibly-duped items wont disappear. Method A: Socketing 1) Put the rune in a socketed item in the same game that you received the runes in(best method). Or use the "temp perm" method below in each game until you are ready to socket the rune. 2) The socketed rune is now permanent. It will not disappear, the item you socketed it in and the rune will never disappear. Have fun. Method B: The Temp Perm Method: NOTE: The Temp Perm Method will allow you to keep your runes for THAT game ONLY. You MUST repeat the Temp Perm Method for EVERY game in order for your runes to never disappear (until you socket them). 1. Open a trade window with another player and wait for the window to come up. Close the trade window. 2. Save and Exit immediately after closing your trade window. Do not use alt + F4 to quit out of Diablo 2 instead of saving and exiting the game first. 3. Do this in every game you join, it will work every time, just dont forget to do it every game to be safe. |
